My mates keep all the terminal tackle up with new hooks, line, leaders, crimps and swivels. Captain Josh Goodson

Pursuing Blue Marlin Dreams Worldwide

My name is Josh Goodson. I am the owner and operator of Miss Angela. I have been fishing professionally for over 25yrs. A large portion of my carrier was spent tournament fishing for blue marlins in the Gulf of Mexico. I was very fortunate to be a part of a lot of very successful teams winning a lot of tournaments in the Gulf of Mexico. After 15 years of tournament fishing, I decided to start traveling full-time in pursuit of big blue marlin, which is how I ended up in Cape Verde. Throughout my career, I've traveled across the globe for Marlin Fishing Cape Verde and chasing billfish worldwide.
Once I arrived to Cape Verde, I quickly realized that this was the place I had been looking for to share my passion for big blue marlins with other fishermen. As a fisherman there is nothing like sharing what you love with somebody else that loves it as much as you do.
My enjoyment is being able to take people to catch the ocean's largest apex predator fish and be apart of the memories that will last them a lifetime. I pride myself on running a professional operation that offers the best platform for customers to enjoy Marlin Fishing Cape Verde. My focus as a captain is the safety of my passengers, making sure everyone is having fun and provide the best opportunity to catch fish.

Experience the Ultimate Fishing Day with Marlin Fishing Cape Verde!

A normal fishing day for us is 7am-5pm, depending on which island and where we are fishing. It is common to start fishing as soon as we leave the mooring or the dock. It is also common to be hooked up and backing down on fish within minutes of having lines out.
